As part of our business expansion we are looking for 2 hardworking and motivated individuals wishing to improve their skills and experience as a gunsmith. The post will include: - Assisting the Service Director/Senior Gunmaker in the building, repairing, servicing and assembling of rifles and shotguns.
- Regular use of hand tools and machinery, such as a File, Milling Machine and Lathe.
- Working at Shooting Events around the UK.
The Ideal candidates will: - Have a well rounded knowledge of all gunsmith work.
- Have relevant and recognised training and/or apprenticeship in gun making.
- Have an enthusiasm to continue learning and are able to work independently.
- Have an eye for detail and be dedicated to producing work of a high standard.
One of the positions in particular will require the candidate to have the skills and desire to work with wood as a stock maker.
The Salary for both positions is dependent upon experience.
