Rear Extended Picatinny Rails for Night Vision

Rear Extended Picatinny Rail for Night Vision and Thermal Scopes

Using the Recknagel and Contessa Hardware, you can now achieve the nessesary rear extension of a picatinny rail for a comfortable mounting position. As you can see below, this rifle has a picatinny rail mounted to it, but the rail ends at the rear of the rifle's action. Using a rear extended picatinny rail, your scope can now be mounted further back towards your eye.
